THE G3 is a smartphone  of the brand LG LAUNCH IN March 2014 WITH A NUMBER OF KEY FEATURES , and of course with QHD screen, Like always LG know well how to make super amazing display and give the next level of quality display QHd.

The LG G3 was launched with android 4.4.2 and make it hard to compete with the other Smartphone from big brands like Samsung , apple, htc, ect..

but in middle of February 2015 the G3 jump to android 5.0 lollipop with an update and that  help this Smartphone  to return to the road of competition and being in the list of the best new phones 2015 even if it was launched in 2014 .

Design

The design of the LG G3 is similar to the appearance of the LG G2. The back of the LG G3 is plastic but I seems like it is a metallic , when you touch the back you feel like it is a hard plastic They call this a 'metal skin. An advantage of plastic is that the device with 149 grams is relatively light for its size (146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm), , and therefore the battery is removable. There is also a removable back room for a micro-SD card, which is always something  additional.

At the back ,as in the G2 you found the volume buttons and power button. so that make the buttons easy to  reach for your fingers than in the sides, and  after a few hours of using the buttons on the back you will feel very natural - that what we know after using  the LG G2, Also as the LG G2 there’s no buttons on the sides , The back of the G3 is slightly curved, so the unit is fine in your hand.

Screen

The 5.5-inch screen of the LG G3 feature with  a QHD resolution  2540 x 1440 pixels, 538 ppi. you can see the difference between 300 and 600 ppi indeed. But one of the disadvantages of a QHD screen is that it consumes more energy because there are more pixels that consume more energy. Therefore LG add some energy saving options to the G3.

The 5.5-inch screen looks huge at the LG G3, and for many still too large to operate with one hand, but it's definitely not too big.

the Qhd resolution is super cool the screen looks slightly sharper than the full Hd screen from other flagship, the color and the brightness impress, the G3 have one of the best screen on the LG brand particular and on the Smartphone market in general.

In addition, the LG G3 sets the screen on the  centre, if you have the Smartphone in your hands, it's all about the screen. A very nice feature.

Hardware & battery life

In addition to the 5.5-inch display with QHD resolution, G3 is equipped with a 801 Snapdragon processor with a quad-core 2.4 GHz and 2 GB of RAM with the 16GB model and 3 GB of RAM with the model 32 GB. We tested the 16GB model and everything works fine, which once again confirms that 2GB of RAM is more than enough for most high-end smartphones.

G3 have a battery of 3000 mAh, for the life of the battery, the G3 as we know have a QHD screen with more pixels, which consume more energy and lead the battery to down quickly, the device is very fast warm even with the smaller tasks, you can normally get the end of the day, but one thing is sure that the battery life is not good as the G2, the deference is huge.

Software

when you use the software you no longer feel like you're playing with a phone  for children. LG is really going in the right direction. Also the LG G3 is the first smartphone in the LG  history  use  this  new design , easy to navigate and beautifully designed.

As the multitask window is nice and clear and you can close with one button all running apps at once. also it have a  dual windows and that allow you to divide the screen in half and use two apps simultaneously, for example open your Gmail and place the information in a google docs app.

also you can use  huge built-in settings for LED notifications. So for example you can set the LED for Twitter, WhatsApp and Facebook respectively color light blue, green and dark blue. So you always know what notifications you receive, without activating the screen of the G3.

LG additionally comes with some useful features, including Smart Keyboard, and Smart Security Notice. The latter consists of various services, such as the Knock code that you can easily unlock your phone to the Killswitch to lock your device remotely, delete or disable a whole.

Smart Notice is a personal assistant that the suggestions and recommendations based on the behavior of the user, for example reporting files that you never use and asking if  you want to remove them, and adding a number that you call often.

Smart Keyboard is a smart keyboard that learns from the words that the user types, And that allow you to type 75 percent faster than before. In addition, the height of the keyboard is adapted to the needs of the user.

Camera

The LG G3 features a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. In addition, introduces the Smartphone Laser Auto Focus, so the camera - even in extreme low light - fast focus by measuring the distance between the subject and the camera using a laser beam. This technology is used by the police,  The Laser Auto Focus is really an excellent addition to an very good performance, with 13 megapixel camera that shoots pictures with natural colors and great detail.

The selfie camera on the front works really excellent. The camera has 2.1 megapixels and has a bigger image sensor, like the HTC One M8. That means lighter selfies with a more wide-screen format. There is also a handy timed selfie mode . Put the G3 down and make a fist once everyone is ready state, the G3 recognize this gesture and automatically starts counting down, and The arm length is not important, also this feature is useful if you want to take a hand selfie. You don’t need to look for the shutter button to make a selfie.

Another interesting feature of the camera of the LG G3 is the audio recording, It adapts to its environment, Additionally, you can shoot in 4K resolution, although the camera is set on the Full Hd resolution which you can change to 4k resolution.

LG G2 review, everything you need to know

LG is highly committed to the LG G2, one of best  new phones in last two year  of the South Korean brand, was launched in septembre 2013 , They developed an excellent hardware and also try again in different ways to show innovation. Everything comes together in the LG G2, which leaves the technological ingenuity and excellent hardware from LG.

Design

in the design LG  try something different In the  G2 , The unit is just too large to feel uncomfortable in the hand, with  a large screen of 5.2 inches(138.5x 70.9x 8.9 mm).

We found in The front of the LG G2 the speaker and the camera and the LG logo at the bottom. LG has the bezel so small you can keep by moving the buttons to the rear, about the sides there’s no buttons , users can put  a micro-SD card through the left side of the unit, the volumes buttons and the power button are in the back of the LG G2 .

The Lack of buttons ensures that the unit is fine in your hand and the rounded edges make the LG G2 slightly softer feel in the hand than the hard angular edges that has many other smartphone.

The back is made entirely of shiny plastic that make the back full of greasy fingerprints in few times. Under the camera lens are the buttons of the Smartphone,  the two volume buttons and power button. According to LG, when using the buttons you feel natural as in the sides. After a few weeks of using the back buttons we can only agree that the  buttons  on the back are reachable  faster than on the side or top.

Screen

The 5.2 inch screen of the LG G2 is equipped with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The IPS-LCD is one of the best screens we've seen on an Android smartphone after Qhd. LG which is  long time known as an excellent LCD panels producer, with 5.2-inch screen size  of the LG G2 ,the color and bright is excellent., but the intensity of color is just too high that it bothers. However, the colors are not as saturated as the AMOLED screens from Samsung .

Due to the high resolution, the LG G2 has a pixel density of 424 pixels per inch, in fact is considered to be very sharp.

LG has added a very strong glass called Gorilla Glass 2. This type of glass is  more scratch resistant than the others smartphone of lg, although it does not scratch, several tests indicate that Gorilla Glass 2 certainly has an effect on the durability of the screen.

Hardware

The LG G2 USE  a swift 800 Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm with 2,26GHz quad processor and 2GB of RAM. In addition, there are 16 or 32GB of storage space available to store all your content. The internal storage is expandable with a micro SD card up to 128 GB, Furthermore, there is support for the low-energy Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G networks  , the device weighs is  about 143 grams, With a  large battery of 3000 mAh.

Software

the software of LG shows many comparisons with Samsung's TouchWiz, is no coincidence. Both companies come from South Korea and have a preference for a colorful and quite busy here and there cluttered design. LG offer a set of widgets that can be placed on the lockscreen .  you can put a calendar on the lock screen or opening the camera by swiping to the right. An interesting feature of the LG G2 is the ability to set in the software buttons themselves. The buttons can be changed in order, and you can also add an extra button. Unfortunately, the LG G2 does not have the special multitask button as in the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), very few manufacturers use this very convenient button, again like many other manufacturers, the option button that settings can be opened within an app. And to use The multitask window you need to press  the home button a long press. You can also find the task manager and you can with a single press of the button turned off all apps. A handy feature.

LG has classifying the homescreens and made it very simple. You press and hold the homescreen and you can get the three main options: the apps, widgets and wallpaper. The apps and widgets can be dragged directly to the desired homescreen, the wallpapers are displayed in a separate window and change it immediately when you press it. It is also possible to select multiple images that are slowly changing, so you never have the same wallpaper.

LG's settings menu is not so simple. By the addition of many different functions, the menu is divided into four sections, Also  it is not exactly clear that several options are possible under an option when you press them. This makes it difficult for the average users to setting what they want.

camera

The LH H2 have a camera of 13 mega pixel, it make beautiful picture especially in the daylight and has a sensor that extremely good focus, and it take a good PICTURE from the corner, but in the dark the 13 mega pixel perform less than  in the light  not like the htc one that make better picture in the dark.

With The optical image stabilization, a technology in which the lens is kept as stable as possible, when taking pictures that help also to make a good quality of picture .

Battery life

The LG G2 has a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. This is sufficient to reach the end of the day, but after a day of intensive use, the charger at the end of the night is needed. Thereby it is noticeable that the battery life of the LG G2 is significantly longer than that of some competitors from HTC, Sony and Samsung. If you're afraid not to reach the end of the day, you can always turn on a special low-power mode that will  activates a number of energy-saving options. Think of a reduced screen brightness and turning off wifi and automatic synchronization. you can set the option of saving mode that consume only 10 percent of the total power , a nice trick.
