LG G2 review, everything you need to know

LG is highly committed to the LG G2, one of best  new phones in last two year  of the South Korean brand, was launched in septembre 2013 , They developed an excellent hardware and also try again in different ways to show innovation. Everything comes together in the LG G2, which leaves the technological ingenuity and excellent hardware from LG.

Design

in the design LG  try something different In the  G2 , The unit is just too large to feel uncomfortable in the hand, with  a large screen of 5.2 inches(138.5x 70.9x 8.9 mm).

We found in The front of the LG G2 the speaker and the camera and the LG logo at the bottom. LG has the bezel so small you can keep by moving the buttons to the rear, about the sides there’s no buttons , users can put  a micro-SD card through the left side of the unit, the volumes buttons and the power button are in the back of the LG G2 .

The Lack of buttons ensures that the unit is fine in your hand and the rounded edges make the LG G2 slightly softer feel in the hand than the hard angular edges that has many other smartphone.

The back is made entirely of shiny plastic that make the back full of greasy fingerprints in few times. Under the camera lens are the buttons of the Smartphone,  the two volume buttons and power button. According to LG, when using the buttons you feel natural as in the sides. After a few weeks of using the back buttons we can only agree that the  buttons  on the back are reachable  faster than on the side or top.

Screen

The 5.2 inch screen of the LG G2 is equipped with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The IPS-LCD is one of the best screens we've seen on an Android smartphone after Qhd. LG which is  long time known as an excellent LCD panels producer, with 5.2-inch screen size  of the LG G2 ,the color and bright is excellent., but the intensity of color is just too high that it bothers. However, the colors are not as saturated as the AMOLED screens from Samsung .

Due to the high resolution, the LG G2 has a pixel density of 424 pixels per inch, in fact is considered to be very sharp.

LG has added a very strong glass called Gorilla Glass 2. This type of glass is  more scratch resistant than the others smartphone of lg, although it does not scratch, several tests indicate that Gorilla Glass 2 certainly has an effect on the durability of the screen.

Hardware

The LG G2 USE  a swift 800 Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm with 2,26GHz quad processor and 2GB of RAM. In addition, there are 16 or 32GB of storage space available to store all your content. The internal storage is expandable with a micro SD card up to 128 GB, Furthermore, there is support for the low-energy Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G networks  , the device weighs is  about 143 grams, With a  large battery of 3000 mAh.

Software

the software of LG shows many comparisons with Samsung's TouchWiz, is no coincidence. Both companies come from South Korea and have a preference for a colorful and quite busy here and there cluttered design. LG offer a set of widgets that can be placed on the lockscreen .  you can put a calendar on the lock screen or opening the camera by swiping to the right. An interesting feature of the LG G2 is the ability to set in the software buttons themselves. The buttons can be changed in order, and you can also add an extra button. Unfortunately, the LG G2 does not have the special multitask button as in the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), very few manufacturers use this very convenient button, again like many other manufacturers, the option button that settings can be opened within an app. And to use The multitask window you need to press  the home button a long press. You can also find the task manager and you can with a single press of the button turned off all apps. A handy feature.

LG has classifying the homescreens and made it very simple. You press and hold the homescreen and you can get the three main options: the apps, widgets and wallpaper. The apps and widgets can be dragged directly to the desired homescreen, the wallpapers are displayed in a separate window and change it immediately when you press it. It is also possible to select multiple images that are slowly changing, so you never have the same wallpaper.

LG's settings menu is not so simple. By the addition of many different functions, the menu is divided into four sections, Also  it is not exactly clear that several options are possible under an option when you press them. This makes it difficult for the average users to setting what they want.

camera

The LH H2 have a camera of 13 mega pixel, it make beautiful picture especially in the daylight and has a sensor that extremely good focus, and it take a good PICTURE from the corner, but in the dark the 13 mega pixel perform less than  in the light  not like the htc one that make better picture in the dark.

With The optical image stabilization, a technology in which the lens is kept as stable as possible, when taking pictures that help also to make a good quality of picture .

Battery life

The LG G2 has a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. This is sufficient to reach the end of the day, but after a day of intensive use, the charger at the end of the night is needed. Thereby it is noticeable that the battery life of the LG G2 is significantly longer than that of some competitors from HTC, Sony and Samsung. If you're afraid not to reach the end of the day, you can always turn on a special low-power mode that will  activates a number of energy-saving options. Think of a reduced screen brightness and turning off wifi and automatic synchronization. you can set the option of saving mode that consume only 10 percent of the total power , a nice trick.
